It is that time of year when sanctions training is coming up in conjunction with PACS discussions. The Union is advising you NOT to sign as you are essentially waiving progressive discipline and agreeing that the slide show presentation is full training and an acknowledgement that you fully understand a vague policy.
If you have not done the training yet, you may put “refuse to sign” on the certificate that prints out and give that and the attached statement the manager in question. Keep a copy for yourself.
-- If you signed the statement already, and wish to protect your rights under progressive discipline, visit our website for a sanctions refuse to sign form, sign it, and give to your local management official and request that it be put into your e7B. Again, keep a copy for your records.
